Meek Mill’s New Album Championships is Now Officially Released

It’s been a challenge for Meek Mill, but as of now, his latest album entitled Championships is officially out in the market. It is the first full-length release of this Philly rapper since the year 2017’s Wins and Losses. The best thing of all is that it is his first album as being released from jail following a #FreeMeekMill campaign which heavily criticized the managing of his case. Since he becomes a public advocate for jail reform, only this week he argued his case in the New York Times and on Ellen.

The album Championships is a historic release for another reason. It is the first emergence of ex-partners Drake and Meek on a track together since they squashed their beef onstage in Boston.

This was ridiculous back in 2015; when Meek Mill went after Drake for purportedly using a ghostwriter and Drake kept on to eliminate him in one of the one-sided rap feuds in recent memory. Drake rolls up on “Going Bad song.” It’s his 3rd song with Meek Mill next “Amen” as well as “R.I.C.O.,” the track that got Meek Mill all worked up. Quentin Miller doesn’t have a writing recognition on this one.

Also, one that raises eyebrows to rap enthusiast is the inclusion of Cardi B. He has been involved in a dispute or feud with Meek Mills former girlfriend, Nicki Minaj. A Cardi-Meel team-up has been whispered for many months, and indeed, he guests on a song On Me.

Presumably Nicki will discuss this on the latest episode of her radio show only any day now, however, let us not allow tabloid drama entirely outshine the reality that there is a new album of Meek Mill music for your checking. It composed of 19 songs and also includes features from Rick Ross, Jay-Z, Future, Kodak Black, Young Thug, Ella Mai, Jeremih, 21 Savage, Fabolous, and many others.
